This notice explains what personal data Gastric Amp collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It covers this site only.

Who we are

Gastric Amp is a music production and publishing house based in Brighton and Hove, United Kingdom. Gastric Amp is a trading name of Craig Stamp, a sole trader, and for data protection purposes the data controller is Craig Stamp.

For anything in this notice, or to make a request about your data, email info@gastricamp.uk.

What we collect, and when

When you contact us

If you email or call using the details on this site, we receive whatever you choose to send: typically your name, your email address or phone number, and the content of your message. There is no contact form on this site, so nothing is collected unless you get in touch yourself.

Analytics

Analytics is not currently switched on. No analytics cookies are set on this site at present, and no data is sent to Google. The rest of this section describes what happens if and when analytics is enabled, at which point you will be asked to choose before anything loads.

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. It tells us things like which pages are popular, roughly which country visitors are in, and whether they arrived from search or a link. IP addresses are anonymised. We do not use it for advertising, and advertising storage is switched off regardless of what you choose.

If you decline, Google Analytics is never loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

Hosting and security

This site is served through Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP address and browser type in order to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. This happens for every visitor, is necessary for the site to function safely, and is not used to build a profile of you.

Cookies

Until you accept analytics, this site sets no cookies at all. Your choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage rather than a cookie, so recording a refusal does not require setting the thing you refused.

NameSet byPurposeExpires
_ga Google Analytics Distinguishes one visitor from another so visits can be counted. Only set if you accept. 2 years
_ga_* Google Analytics Keeps track of a single visit. Only set if you accept. 2 years
gastricamp-consent This site Local storage, not a cookie. Remembers whether you accepted or declined. Until you clear your browser data

You can change your mind at any time: Analytics is not currently switched on for this site, so there is nothing to review.

Why we are allowed to do this

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. Data passes through these service providers so the site and our email can work:

Data leaving the UK

Cloudflare and Google are US-headquartered and may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
